Why do I need a ShutterBooth?

We have spent the last four years creating a business that is focused on delivering perfect service to our clients. We have six full-time dedicated professionals that ensure that your event goes smoothly. We know your event is only going to happen once and although we might be a small part of your day, we are going to make that part perfect. Our business focuses on exceptional events and quality products and services. We take pride in our work and really enjoy what we do. ShutterBooth was chosen by “The Knot” as their photo booth partner of 2010, has received The Wedding Wire‘s brides’ choice award for unique services, and has booked over 10,000 events including corporate parties, bar/bat mitzvah’s, graduation parties, weddings, & more!

How many photos can we take?

Your ShutterBooth service includes unlimited prints. This means you and your guests can go in the booth numerous times during the event. The strips only take 10-15 seconds to print and the next group in line does not have to wait for them to finish; they will be taking their photos while the prior group is reaching down to grab their printed strips!

Are there limitations to the venue?

ShutterBooth is modular and can be brought up stairs, set up outdoors, and only requires a basic power supply. So, no, there are no limitations to which venues we go to.

I found a photo booth company for a very cheap price!

ShutterBooth provides photo booth service for exceptional events. We dedicate ourselves to being the best photo booth company period! Our focus is on providing beyond excellent service and products to our clients for their life’s biggest events. We cannot compete with cheaper companies while continuing to offer the high quality paper, ink, cameras, printers, curtains, props, and scrapbooks we believe you deserve. We also could not attract and retain the best employees to manage and host your event if we were to lower our prices. We do not operate with a low-price strategy to win business. We base our strategy on winning referrals. We can only do that when the client is ecstatic about the service and product we provided. And you know what? We get a TON of referrals. How many copies are printed?

Every ShutterBooth includes unlimited photos! Guests are welcome to jump in the booth as many times as they like. Each time an individual or group uses the booth one copy is printed for them and, if a scrapbook option is chosen, a second copy is printed for the scrapbook. Your guests are sure to go home with at least one photo strip or grid–most likely, a handful of them! If your guests want extra copies, they only need to ask the host. And, the fun doesn’t stop there. Within a few days of your event, your guests can go to ShutterYou.com to view, purchase and download photos. ShutterYou offers a variety of print sizes and will soon be offering merchandise! Guests can download free web copies to share through email and web apps such as twitter and Facebook.

What does the host do?

Your ShutterBooth host might be the only person who interacts with every one of your guests during your event, so we know it is important to select our hosts carefully. ShutterBooth doesn’t just send an attendant who is going to sit behind the booth and watch it run. We are going to send a “Host” who is entertaining, helpful, fun, engaging, friendly, hard-working and will add value to your ShutterBooth experience. We know that our hosts are the face of ShutterBooth and we take great pride in them.

My DJ has a photo booth.

Your DJ company may feel that they need to offer a variety of unrelated services in order to win customers. Our feeling is that just because customers may want or need different services for their event, it doesn’t mean they should get them from the same company. After all, you wouldn’t get your cake from the DJ, would you? We have spent more than five years researching, testing and perfecting every aspect of our service to you. We offer this friendly but cautionary advise: if you hire your photo booth from a company that thought they would win you over by offering one-stop shopping rather than choosing to be excellent at one service, then you may not get what you are hoping for. At ShutterBooth, we love what we do and we do it better than anyone else. We are passionate about creating and capturing memories in the booth because it is fun, touching, goofy, memorable, hilarious, silly and FUN! (We said “fun” twice and we meant it!) We love music and we really love cake, but, even though we know you need those items too, we will not take advantage of our relationship with you by pretending we can bake or spin records as well as professional chefs and djs.

Are you reliable?

Yes! We are very reliable! Reliability is our middle name! We arrive to your event with back-up equipment (very reliable) and we arrive extra early (extra reliable!) We know how important your event is and we work extra hard behind the scenes so that we can keep our promise of exceptional service to you.
